So, this is how it all started.
A just bougt my 3D-printer
and I wanted to try it out,
so I decided to print gears.
I made these
as my first project.
It's called the gear painting and
you can find it on Thingiverse.
All the
part are there.
There's no bearings or anything, it's just basically nails with printed parts on them.
So, that was the first one.
I decided that if I could do
gears, I could probably do some other
advanced mechanics, so I decided to do a Gear Project.
and... I hade a free space
in our staircase.
A free wall which is about four meters high
and two meters wide.
That's the whole space.
So, I put the whole project on the wall.
Emm... It's basically six frames, three white
and three black.
And then eh,
everything is driven
from this third frame
Eh, there is
the driving gear
coming from motor in the boxes at the side there
Aemm,
They're not lined up perfectly. I will a redesign of the boxes.
But that's how it looks.
And the motor is coming in right there,
that's the driving gear.
and the this one goes up to
other frames up here.
and the last one, this one goes down here.
So, it all drives like that,
it's a double gear.
teeth at the top
and teeth at the side.
The theeth at the side drives the gears inside the frame
and, the ones on sticking out, like this.
Then there is the axes coming with the universal joint
driving the next frame.
There is a RJ11 connection which connects the... lighting.
As you can see, it's lit.
Connects the lighting down to the next frame and up to the next frame.
so if you go down here
to the next frame.
And then... it's black, and
then you have the driving gear white instead, the doubble gear, and the...
white gears is coming out, and it goes further
to the next frame...
The same idea.
Ahemm...
The RJ11 connection is used to...
to just to just have the lighting so if I pull this one
It looses the light.
Very simple.
Ehm... This is the top part, it's about 3 meters
from staircase.
Then it gose the next one.
It's two white gears sticking out on this frame.
And then, the universal joints again of course
to the next one like this.
One black gear is sticking out.
The motor is quite strong.
So, it's not a good idea to put your finger like this... I think you will hurt.
But eventually...
something will probably break before your finger breaks, but it will hurt.
And there is all ball bearings everywhere,
so, on the gears have
ball bearings, this is M6 screws.
Ball bearings on everything. On the holder there is a ball bearing.
and there is a,
ball bearing on the
holder right there.
And the same on
every frame everywhere.
In the universal joints as well.
Ball bearings...
So, it's very quiet.
The whole idea whas that it should be quiet so
it should not disturb anyone.
for the moment the...
the motor is a little bit noisy.
It is something wrong with, so I will change it.
when I get the new one.
So this is the whole thingie...
and is there is a, uh...
Remote controll to controll the lighting
so if I do red here, the thing is red.
Green, it's green, And blue of course, and white.
You can also be changed the
amount, change how, how...
bright it should be.
Very nice.
