My favorite part was meeting new people and making new friends. My favorite part was that I got to learn
a lot of new things, sign up for classes, and do things I wouldn't normally get to experience.
The free food.
Meeting new people. I met this guy, Joshua, a good friend now.
This day has just been awesome. The most exciting part was me getting my Cal 1 Card. Yay, I'm a Bear now!
Going to CalSO; it gives you firsthand experience of what you're going to experience. It gives you
some Cal spirit and really helps you select your classes. Doing this at home, I live in LA, it would
not be possible. I'd screw up everything. If I have any advice for future transfer students, it's go to CalSO.
The people, the people in charge, everybody was really awesome. The energy was incredible.
I'd say the Closing with the band.
Oh, I loved when the band came out at the very end. All the leaders were cheering and everything.
It was one of the first times I felt school spirit.
Seeing the whole campus because I've only been down here once. I only skated through here for thirty minutes, so it was
really cool seeing the whole campus and just having the tour guide explain all the traditions and stuff on campus.
And that was cool.
I think I had a better idea of the campus.
Receiving consultation on how to sign up for my classes on Tele-BEARS and also how to fulfill all
my upper-division requirements for my major.
The pre-online orientation was very, very helpful before you got here. And I think, basically, I don't know the
most useful part about it. I think the whole thing was useful, like everything was extremely useful.
Getting your classes, being here, and breaking up different parts, so you're not getting all this information
in one-on-one particular subjects. So I think the whole thing was actually useful. But I loved the end.
I had no clue what Tele-BEARS was, so it was really informative to have someone walk you through it.
The most useful thing? I think it's actually the interaction that we're having with our future classmates.
I already have a community. I've been here one day.
Gotta do my makeup.
