Tv - The modern day subliminal crystal ball

After praying this morning the Lord gave me a couple different messages and I wanted to share one of them with you right now. I want to give you the definition that I found on Google for “crystal ball”. It says a sphere, especially of quartz crystal traditionally used by fortune tellers, a means or method of predicting future events. Another definition says that, a quartz crystal or glass in which images especially those of which who portend to tell the future are supposedly visible. So, what the Lord was speaking to me this morning and He put onto my heart that the TV is a modern day crystal ball. That is will tell you the future. And the Lord reminded me of how when Jesus in Matthew 5 verse 28 Jesus said, but I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. You may ask me, what does this have to do with the television? Well, I don't know about you, but when I used to watch the television... My wife and I, we destroyed all of our televisions over a year ago, about a year and half ago... (I will put the video down below if you guys want to watch that.) But, as we all know the television is full of garbage. When you're watching a show with women or men that are half dressed on television, obviously as Jesus just said, if you *** after them you've already committed adultery with them in your heart. But, one other thing that the Lord has shown me is that if you're watching say a horror show; one where people or getting killed, maybe shot or maybe their head is getting cut off or something horrible like that, and you're sitting there being entertained by that and it's stimulating you... Then you have already committed that in your heart; in your heart you are a murderer. Or if you are sitting there watching a drama show that has someone on there, maybe robbing banks, stealing, lying, cheating or all of these different things... And you're sitting there being entertained by it, then you have already done those things in your heart... It's been planted into your heart. If those things are entertaining to you, then you are no better than doing them yourself. And with what Jesus said there in Matthew 5:28, if you've looked at a woman with *** you've done committed it in your heart... So, if you're looking at these things on TV; whether it's fornication, lying, cheating, stealing, gambling, idolatry and whatever else that it is... If you're sitting there being entertained by all of these things that are contrary to the pureness to the holiness to the righteousness of Jesus; things that grieve the Spirit of the Living God... Then all of those things that you're looking at; you've already done them in your heart. And that is why the Lord said that the television is the modern day subliminal crystal ball. Because all of those things that you're watching on TV; they are telling you the future, predicting your future... Because if you're looking at them, being entertained by them, *** after them and having sinful thoughts, they are already being planted into your heart. Therefore, your future is already being told by what you're looking at with your eyes. If your eyes are bad your whole body is going to be bad. And if that light in your is darkness, then how great is that darkness. You may say well crystal balls are used by fortune tellers and those into witchcraft and things like that... Well, my friend, all sin is rebellion against God and rebellion is as witchcraft. Being entertained by sin is no different from doing that sin your own self. How is that television bringing you closer to Jesus? How is that television bringing glory to Jesus in your life? These are questions that you must honestly ask yourself. Take it to Jesus.
