It's Number one.... Hi all and Welcome by wonderthemepark: Efteling Welkom in the Eftling. This is the biggest themepark from Holland You find the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel, that's near by Tilburg and Tilburg is Noord-Brabant The park is opened in 1952 with the fairytaleforest. That was the first big attraction from the themepark Before that the Efteling was already open but it was a swimminglake, sportpark with a theahouse Efteling was probably its name from a farm that was built. in 16th century Homestead disappeared but the hamlet was named the hooves. The name change from Efstrling to Efteling Everbody knows that the Efteling starts his history with a fairytaleforest but after a few years they build big attractions like the Python, Spookslot and the Piraha Well now anno 2013 the park is grown to a full attractionpark. They have 4 million visiters pro year They are with that numbers on place 3 of best visit park in Europe. Only Disney and Europa Park stays before Efteling. That are good numbers! It will be busy today in the park So it can also be: Take your childeren from school and go to a themepark. No queuelines! Toverland stopt with 356 days open and the Efteling starts with 365 days open The Bob is not really Eftelingstyle but that are even the Carnaval Festival and Pandadroom not too. The Bob is build in 1985 and build by Intamin. It is a type: Swissbob Our playground for today! Fairytaleforest, Droomvlucht, Vogelrok, ruigrijk and the Fata Morgana The Bob is a very unique ride and this is directly the Eftling. The build only special rides. And if it not they MAKE it special The length of the track is 524 meter and 20 metres high. He can up to max 60 kmph and is a really bobsled Especially in the rain it is nice because you slip away! Because the track is slick and you go from the left to the right. I love that! At full speed too the conductors! Hahaha, nice! Since 2005 there are new bobs on track. The old ones you line up after eachother but now you seat side by side for power up the capacitance If you looking good you see down here holes in the track. That is for run away raining water. You saw them? If the holes there are not the track will be full of water. Is nice too, waterbobs! The Bob in the Efteling, nice unique rollercoaster. You must try it if you are here! He drives very good, ahhh Nice track, the best you can do this one by rain because you go all the ways. It is a classic ride and you can upgrade it but not so big like Radja River for example. That one has a roof with water and is too big to realize here The Piraha has 4 strong waterpumps what pumps up the water. By hills and brays underwater the waves created. He uses the most power of the park In the pool are the extra boats and that kind of stuff. Every rapid has a pool like this. Because you must storage your water somewhere. In the morning as the pumps will go on the track is in 20 minutes full of water In the track are a few barrels who can turn automatic or by hand. This is for get apart boats if they stuck Here we go! The Piraha, one of the first rapids of the world. And delicious raw, I love it! Water! He has no special elements but he is wet enough from only the rapid! And you like it? I do not like the whole attraction. The qeueline is good and the building is very well but the ride on his own is not so special If you leave the harbour it is very dark. I know it is dark on open sea but they have made something The first part of the darkride is good. The part that you leave the harbour and see some ships The track is build in 2007 and the manufactor is Kumbak. But Kumbak don't finshed the track because the had problems with it. Intamin has make the brakes The rollercoaster track is too short in my opinion. The waterride is also too short; both times is it just not it We are going back in time, too 1670: The Flying Dutchman At least 1,20 meter but I'm get that I will sail! A very well finished queue. However we leave the harbour it's gonna be dark Okay now we enter the sea. There is nothing here, okay I know on the sea is nothing if it is dark. But they can ivent something nice Pratical you see about 0:30 minutes nothing. Is simpy sin. Okay now must come a thunderstorm Okay that's the thunderstorm. You get wet, you get very wet! It is raining hard! But there are no poeple coming too the park Spookslot was the first big attraction outside the Fairytaleforest. It is no ghosthouse from the fairground But inside is a big aatronic show that looks like on a Church Garden. The scene is based on the movie: Tombs of the dead out year 1971. The Movie is about a cursed Spanish Manostery/Church There is playing music: Dans the Macabre. In normal words: Dance from the dead There is nothing horror. The most interesting part of this house is the Ghost The ghost is projected by the pepperghost effect I try too explain, I'm not a technicus bij myself Under the floor stand the real ghost. The ghost is shining with a big light and on the glass that stands in a distance of 45 degrees shine up a ghost you hear that, his jaws crunching No, he don't wanna ghost. We are going too the show A Dutch childerensong, o okay we starting! That are the pepperghost, they work the glasses And the churchgarden comes to live! In 2002 the Pandadroom was opened. An attraction to make people aware for losing our world The attraction cost 16 million euro. World Nature gives the Efteling 7 million euro and the rest was for the Efteling his own. That is 9 million When the attraction was opened it was unique but the unique was fast gone because HansaPark build the Pandavision that is simulair to this ride, so the Pandadroom is no more unique A lot Eftelingfans don't like the Pandadroom because it is ugly. But they don't like the Bob either and to be honest. Carnaval Festival is nog in "Eftelingstyle" too But I don't like the Pandadroom too. It's a good idear to help the World Nature, that's for sure. But attraction on his own is not fun The Pagode is an Intamin Flying Island and get up in the air for the firsttime in 1987. He goes up to 45 meter, turns 1 round and go back to the ground Tt conta weight is less than 10 meters into the ground. And this is a unique ride too. There are 3 over the world: Bush Gardens, Gardaland and the Efteling. But I saw last time a video from Legoland Or that number 4 is or a replacement. I don't know Safe and sound on the ground! The Gondeletta is a interesting ride. This was the test ride for the Fata Morgana but it was so populair that they keep the attraction. It is a tow-boat-ride for intamin and the Fata Morgana has a new Tow-Boat-Ride I think it a funny story because they build something for test. Too use for another ride with all things on it and the Boatride on his own is a succes What a pity now. I want to walk around in the Adventure Labyrith Make the flight of your life. The Efteling present the Vogel Rok in 1998 It is based on the fairytale 1001 night with sinbad. I like the theme but the working out is bad I miss lasers, fire and that kind of stuff. You can fire up if you are ride near by the ground, that is a nice special effect too add on There are lasers on the ride but just 2 of them. On the lifthill and blockbrakes But without that is it a very nice ride with good G's The track is build by Vekoma, who build the Python too. The track is 25 meters high and goes maximum 65 kmph The track is 700 meters long and it is not a long track but a good track The capacitance is high because they can put 3 trains on track, and that a lot for so little rollercoaster ***, we must wait 5 minutes. That is long! 0:19:55.000,0:19:57.000 This is the old bird who dies here The bird is flying by Look this is Efteling quality! The queue is not long but they put an extra train on track, Fantastic! But see how relax they working here. Good for us so we can take easy our camera on the coaster! No you see what birds. And we go full speed down! Oww good nice track! And it is gone The next attraction Carnaval Festival He is open in 1984 and I can remember me good that we are get all a red nose for put it on It was for us the first year that we see the Carnaval Festival It was the first attraction too where I saw the system of the endless chain system. That are all the cars that follow eachother The attraction is made by Joop Geesink, you know the guy from Loeki The Leeuw In 1984 the rides was open for public but before that Joop died In 2005 Loeki the Leeuw was kickoff television and the Efteling take loekie the leeuw in her Carnaval Festival Because Joop Geesink created Loeki The Leeuw and Carnaval Festival But he is kick out Carnaval Festival too. But it is a shame because Loeki is a hero. Anyway, I think it is money why he is not there anymore By the way: Joop has good looked too Disneyland Paris with "It's a small world after all" But ofcourse the Efteling make their own vision about it. But brand new original is the attraction not Who is not growing up with it? The endless chain system the dolls are from other manufactors Boe, be scared! Just like said: The Efteling makes from something simples, something special. This is a Mack Theacupride that you see a lot in other themeparks But the Efteling has make their own version: Monsieur Cannibale. He is opened in 1982 and in 2002 he has get a roof because the lot of rain in Holland It is one of the only ride that is a round-a-bout the other rides all waterrides, rollercoasters and darkrides In Den Halve Mean is a swingboat and Polka Marina is the only other round-about You sit in the ride in one of those cups. You are cooking by the cannibale who sits in the middle of the ride In time that you are riding there is a song that says: "Please Cannibal don't eat me" Henny Knoet has all created this and not confused with Koet. They build this ride too, don't know that Het Volk van Laaf is a separate fairytale that me think of Wuzetown in Phantasialand And then the hear: Alaaf, Alaaf. "So it was Carnaval!" That was the noodsignal for the Laven Well, we know now where Carnaval comes from. It comes from here the Efteling! Little hallways and stairs. So is it to be a Lavelaar This is the old Steamcarrousel from Janvier. The carrousel is from 1895 and since 1956 in the Efteling Janvier has build this carrousel by his own from seperated parts. The steammachine is build by Konings from Swalmen(Holland) The stroy is that Anton Pieck self want to have this carrousel because he riding it on the fairground in Haarlem as little boy The carrousel no more longer runs on steam but on eletricity from the '70 The Palace around the carrousel never has travels with the carrousel. It is later build by the Efteling The next fairytale: St. Nicolaes Always funny that childeren don't believe in Fairytales but St. Nicoleas the believe. But it is a nice fairytale we do every year with our childeren This is the first Vekoma Mad House on the world and it is build in 1996. In the short way: This is the prototype And the best one because it has a good story, nice music and two pre-shows and good details The story: People are angry because a gang attack the neighberhood and take all from the people. They call them selfs: The Bokkerijders. Hugo Van De Looseduynen is the leader That are the old gates from the Efteling, you see it That is Ton van Der ven! He is there to become speechless Hugo tells a story that he rob the curch and a woman that fly says to him that he is cursed. At home the woman is on the roof from his house and cursed his home. He never find peace. Until a baby comes in his home with a clean conscience. Silly boy sits for years there Hugo have a nice house, big room The best Mad House build ever.
