Commander Ben's Dyslexia Story

I've always loved nature and the natural world--the plants, the animals, the microbes-- everything amazing about science. But because I struggled so much with the printed word, whether it was reading, writing, well...and math too I guess. I'm not very good at that either. But because I struggle with those things so much I was really unable to learn as much as I wanted. But thanks to Learning Ally, audio books, and videos I've been able to expand my knowledge ten thousand fold what I could usually do and because of that I start a blog called commanderben.com, a really great thing to not only share my experiences with invasive species, science, and dyslexia, but to help educate others about the topics that I find so interesting. And I encourage you, now, find what you love and really run with it, go all out, and I guarantee you, you'll have a great time. For all those dyslexics out there work hard, do good, listen to a lot of audio books, and watch a bunch of videos and no one, nothing can stop you.
