Vienna is famous for its foods. It's not surprising. Vienna was once a center of a large empire.
People came from all over Europe to live in Vienna. The cuisine is influenced by that.
And so you can get foods from all over Europe here. Here you have one of the cheap places
to eat. We say in German it's Vushlestand or if you translate that in English, maybe
a hot dog stand. They have all different kinds of sausages here. Some of the good places
have as many as ten different kinds. You have a vurenwosh, you have a casicgriner, frankfurter,
currywurst, so if you are just out for a quick bite this is fast food ala Austria. There
are also expensive places to eat in Austria, there's one restaurant with three hats. You
can spend as much money as you want here. And I have friends who when they come to visit
they measure they vacation not by the amount of days they stay here, but the amount of
pounds that they take in.
