Aiko 3 - An introduction

While the Fourth Generation of DAZ Models are great... and some are already starting to get the hang of Genesis, Some people use the third, and in some cases the second generation. This video is an introduction to Aiko3... ...and why you should have her in your runtime. But first, A brief history lesson. Aiko, as her name suggests... ...is a figure that meets the standard definition of a female anime character. Although the vast majority of anime girls... ..have bodies similar to Victoria, and\or Stephanie, and or She-Freak, most are similar to Aiko's body. Aiko was orginally introduced in Generation 2. Generation 3 brought her counterpart... Hiro. He, like Aiko... ...fits the typical anime defintion, this time for a male character. And now, here are three of the many reasons... ...why you should have Aiko3 in your runtime. Reason #1: Aiko3 is easy on the CPU. It's not as easy on the CPU as other models, but it's alright #2, people still put her in their renders, commercial or not. And 3, there is already a vast library of clothes available for her. Some of the coolest Aiko3 item in the DAZ Store are no longer for sale... ...but the few that are for sale are cool. The other 3D marketplaces are also great sources for A3 stuff. Freebies for A3 outweight the number of paid stuff. There are active threads in the DAZ forums to get you started. A great number of freebies for A3 were made by Japanese vendors. The 'Aiko3 Resources' thread in the DAZ Forums... ...and the similar "Japanese Freebies' thread in the Renderosity Forums... ...will point you in the right direction. There is also ShareCG and the Japanese Poser Club. When you are ready to show off your work, there are many avenues. The 'Aiko and Hiro Freaks' group on DeviantArt is one of them. In the future, you may want to concider getting... BelBel and ChibiBel, also in the DAZ Store. BelBel is made by Yamato. It is basically... an authentic anime head on Aiko's body. ChibiBel, made by Billy-T and Yamato, is an even more authentic anime-styled body! You should also concider getting BEL... ... a magazine containing renders featuring BelBel and ChibiBel.
