Today's reflection is taken from the Prophet Oseas, Oseas tells us that we can not call God to the work of our hands.
When you look at a sculpture of Rodan or sculpture of any artist or our Latin American, Botero,
who is perhaps better known to you, I'm being right now listening or watching,
you can not call this God in any way and the mania that has Protestant many people say that we Catholics
worship images we spent, not the absolute value, in the sense that one has a deep sense of communion
with God is a mystery, but that does not materialize just in our soul and in that sense we have art in the churches,
which reminds us precisely what we think of God, what we admire God and what God teaches us through Scripture.
The artwork in the church are of a didactic nature, are not to worship
so when we see people we described as worshipers of images, we have to say, wait,
one thing is the art and another thing is God and stating things as they are,
there are people who likes to worship images, but that we are not all or is the whole church.
May almighty God bless you, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit descend over you, your family and jobs.
May the Lord protect and be with you forever. Amen
