The bible say, on Salms 104, that by God's voice all the mountains It's the same way how He did with the entire universe from the smallest mountain until the biggest was all created after one simple word of God. That is the Mont Blanc. . Is the biggest mountain from the Alps Alps and also the biggest of all Europe. His peak reaches 15781 ft of height. This would be equivalent to a edifice with 1300 floors. The biggest edifice ever made by men have only 152 floors. Now, can you imagine? In one moment, none of those things existed, then suddenly, God speaks one simple word and the mountains start to raise up from the floor all of this comes to exist. I know God did the same way with all the universe but it's impossible to stand before a view like that and don't think about how great is our God. And think that the Alps still are small before God. How small is the Mont Blanc compared to Earth? God says that the earth is the support of His feet. How small is the earth before the whole universe? Solomon said once that not even the entire universe would be enough to support the size of God. This is our God, creator, Almight, Lord of all the universe and sovereign upon everything. Nothing escapes from His command and nothing is too big or too hard for His power. Like the prophet Amos says: "He who forms the mountains and creates the wind. Makes known his thoughts to man. Turns day into night and walks on the mountains the Lord of hosts! this is His name." Now, there's another thing that i can't stop thinking: how small we are before a God so huge! A God who creates the Alps more easily than a child does a little sand pile on the beach. We're smaller than dust before Him, but He loved us, He came to this world like us, He lived like us and He died for our sins. How can this be? The only explanation is one word: Love. How great is God's love. In fact, love's God is so big as God Himself, having the entire universe in His hands, didn't measure efforts to save creatures so small and rebels like us. This love should fill us with safety. There's no safer true than God's love. Is like the psalmist said: "God is our refuge and strenght. A very present help in time of trouble. Though the earth tremble and the mountains fall into the sea, we shall not fear." In other words, even if the Mont Blanc was launched hundreds of miles from here on the mediterranean Sea, none of this would be able to take away the security of whom know is being cared by the Almight God. Even in those tough days where you find yourself without a way out, without direction or desperate. You still could say like David said: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills. Where does my help come? My help come from the Lord who's made heaven and earth". God who is bigger than all the mountains, the Almight God, who loves you He's your help, your refuge, your strength. There is another fact that I can't stop thinking. We should be more humble when we realize how small small we are before a God so huge and how we depend on Him. We need to repent and be humble because so many times we despise God and everything He does for us. 'Cause we live our lifes like we're the most important creatures of the universe and we despise His love and His care for us. Stop thinking you're so important like that. Before a God so big, you're nothing. The only value you've got is the value He gave you one day. The God son value, Jesus, God Himself who died on that cross for you and for me. There's no bigger value than that. So, give God all the honor, glory and praise. 'Cause from Him, for Him and to Him are all the things. Let Him reign in your heart just like He reigns over the whole universe.
