This is session one, the Introduction to the UVM Connect module. The UVM Connect module consists of four parts. This is session one, UVMC introduction. Here you will learn what UVMC is, and why you need it. You'll review the principles behind TLM1 standard communication. We'll also review the basic aspects of port, export and interface connections between both SystemC and SystemVerilog natively as well as with UVMC connect. So, what is UVM Connect? UVM Connect connects SystemC and SystemVerilog modules using both TLM1 standard communication and TLM2 standard communication. It also provides a query control API. So that from SystemC you can control and query aspects of UVM during the simulation.
