Hello, I'm Jonathan Grossenbacher. I'm Swiss, and I've been stunting since four years now. I came very late to the biking world. Sadly I don't have parents who are involved in this world, so I've had to make my place very quickly
and I haven't been doing this for many years.
The feeling at the end of the season is more than satisfied, after 2 hard years, 2012 has been very positive with some great results in competition.
Of course as it's only been a few years we're not talking about the top ten, but with the work and the time, we're in a good position to be expectant about the future.
During the winter, I can't stop, I have a huge amount to do: I try to keep contact with the bike, practicing in my indoor spot,
but then I also do some other things to keep up, as the number of biking hours goes down so much in the winter.
Motodoc is my guardian angel.
Stephan and his company were the first to be really involved, to have given 200%, we can't just speak of a 100, it was 200%. He's a great guy, crazy about mechanics and preparations. He doesn't do what's normal.
I want to thank my friends Robby and Alex, who've created this brand in the last few years and who are starting to really take off in Switzerland.
It's a brand which really represents the spirit of the sport. I love the work they do, their clothes as well as the events they organize and that they try to make things happen on the Swiss freestyle platform.
It's more than a job, it's a lifestyle... I mean, I only think about this, we're forever confronted to what we do.
Mentally it can be hard, hard to disconnect, like a geek has difficulty switching off his computer.
But you have to keep a balance between the sport, passion and work, and to not drown in "success", and to never think you're the best, because you're never the best, you can always do better.
I want to thank all the people who followed me and helped me, without them I couldn't do this with so much motivation and pleasure, so a big thanks to all of them.
