Massive flood is a rarity in Brunei
But it has occurred recently.
Water has inundated many areas
..that have never suffered from flooding before.
Landslides have never occurred in Brunei
...but it happens just recently
Many homes and buildings are affected.
There is even a casualty involved.
All this calls for our wariness. Do not wait until something has happened for actions to be taken; that is wrong.
We are now stricken by the pandemic influenza AH1N1.
It is a dreadful global catastrophe.
As such, many social activities have been affected.
Some of these includes the postponement of any celebration or festivities related to my royal birthday.
Nevertheless, I still believe that the spirit of July 15 is alive and ablaze among us.
