Hi, this is Joylyn Everett here with my lovely assistant Bridget in beautiful Malibu, California
here to talk to you about commercial punk clothing and where you can find it. Mainly
any large shopping mall, but there are also local commercial punk stores, any main street
in any town. A few examples of punk clothing are this camouflage skirt here, cherry print
top, this is the kind of vintage style commercial punk pin-up. We've got the shiny cherry pants,
and pink skater-punk pants.
Some people will say that commercial punk is not truly punk because punk is not commercial.
Unfortunately, most people don't have the time, patience, or creativity to make their
own clothes. So, going to a commercial punk store is more easily accessible and takes
less time.
