My neighborhood is really friendly.
There' s a lot of people that speak Spanish.
My friends speak Spanish.
Also my father, my mother and my sisters and brothers.
We speak Spanish because our families came from Mexico
and other countries in Central America.
My name's Lucrecia and I'm taking you out to 24th Street.
I know the barber. His name is Bill.
That's Kathy's house.
There goes my uncle.
Paneria means bakery. There's a lot of good things there.
And there's crocodiles: cocodrilos.
Oh, that's Buena Vista, my school.
Avocates . . . bananas.
Those are tomatillos.
Mangos are very sweet.
In the back of the store they cook Mexican food.
You make a burrito with a big tortilla,
and then beans and then cheese
and then avocates,
Then you fold it up and put it in a piece of paper and it's all done.
These here are tacos.
And these right over here are tostadas.
And those over there are enchiladas.
Piñatas are for parties. They look like rabbits, dogs, mouse and stars.
They're filled up with candies, toys, surprises and other kinds of things.
Yay!
¡Hasta luego!
