Hi, this is David back with Expert Village. Next, I'm going to demonstrate for you how
to adjust a seat post. A lot of these have quick releases on them, this one does, so,
you can just loosen it like that and just loosen it a little bit to the left, and then
I'm just going to push down on this like yay. I'll get it to where I want it, and then tighten
it back down just with my thumb. Now, one some of these, let's say you don't have a
quick release, which is one of these bad boys. Let's say you have 2 nuts on there, you're
going to need a wrench to do that instead, so, what you're going to do is, your going
to just want to hold the wrench on to the nut with one hand, and then with the other,
you're going to want to put the other wrench on with the other nut and just loosen that,
like that, if that were a nut. And then adjust it to the position you want, and then tighten
it back down. Some of the things you want to make sure are that when you tighten it
down, you're going to want to make sure your seat's aligned properly, so it's properly
centered over the bike frame. Otherwise, you're going to get kind of soar when you go riding
and that's not going to be a lot of fun. So, those are the basic operations of how to adjust
a seat post. Next, I'm going to cover for you how to adjust clipless pedals. This is
David for Expert Village.
