Fellow Jaycees,
as you know, we Estonians are
dead-serious nation.
For this purpose
we have to present
the characters
of 20th and 21st century, that describe the best Estonian character.
We have chosen some
real scenes from Estonian life,
which we will display to you, so that you would know
what real Estonian character is like.
Our Baltic friends
know a bit about this,
but most of the Nordic countries
still have to explore the real
Estonian dead-serious character.
Do you know
that Estonia is the richest country in the World?
But you don´t know why.
It´s because we´re so slow,
that we can´t spend the money we earn.
But we also know that the best joke
in life is a joke on you,
so we will show you the jokes on us tonight.
And here, for example
You can see
Estonian sales-person.
He is doing what?
Aggressively waiting for the customer to call!
The next scene is about the youth,
the future of Estonia.
The hot guys who are really up to partying
at any time!
It´s a good party!
Should we do it again?
And now
what we will experience
is Estonian family-scene.
Father aggressive-salesman
is going to the lakeside for a weekend
with the two hot sons.
In a normal body there´s 90% of fluid.
But in Estonian body...
especially while driving, is 90% of break-fluid.
And even in traffic we have to consider our temper.
For example
Estonians really like the roundabouts.
But due to our national character
there is always an extra sign that stops us
from doing it too much.
Estonians are really practical
we like to collect different items
because the history has shown us that we never know
when we might actually need this stuff.
So when we see a dead bird on the road, what does Estonian do?
Dead bird!
We might need it!
Estonians are really practical, even when building the houses.
Maybe you have seen it in Estonia.
But once a Lithuanian friend was visiting me
and he asked me
regarding my new house:
"There is only one room?"
"Why is there only one room?"
I said: there is no point of building less!
Fifteen minutes has past
since the dog passed the road.
Fox!
30 minutes has passed
from the moment
when the boy noticed a fox.
It´s a dog!
60 minutes has passed
since the last person talked out loud.
Don´t fight!
Hot Estonian boys...
Now they have arrived
to the lakeside
where they will start fishing.
Don´t run so fast,
you might break something!
And now they are fishing.
A son and the father.
I think it´s going to rain.
But it doesn´t and 2 hours passed.
Don´t talk too much, you scare my fish!
Well, the fishing is ending here,
so is our show.
I hope that this was an insight
to the Estonian character,
which you have seen here also during the weekend
and will see tonight.
This is something which is done
through the 20th and 21st century history,
our characters are like this.
But what about the dead bird?!
And regarding the dead bird. They passed the same place
one year later
and they did put it back,
saying that we didn´t need it.
And now if you´re thinking
how to thank us
you can learn
how to say thank you
in Estonian way.
But I have to warn you,
it´s the most highly emotional way of saying "thank you" in Estonian.
"Mh" ... "Mh" ...
