Lots of my out-of-state clients ask me "What the differences between a driving under
the influence charge and driving while impaired?"
In Utah there's a big difference. For a DUI you might be looking at two days
in jail,
a mandatory suspension of your driver's license and many other penalties,
but a "driving while impaired" might allow you to keep your driver's license, it
may keep you out of jail,
and beyond that if somebody asks you if you've been convicted of a DUI,
can legally and lawfully say no.
My name's Branson West.
I'm an attorney who focuses on DUI here in the state of Utah.
I go everywhere from Logan to Saint George, from Wendover to Vernal, and all
the courts in between.
Chances are if you're facing a DUI I've probably been to the court that
you're going through and I know the judges, and the prosecutors.
I can help you.
If you or a loved one has been charged with the DUI or a DWI, call me
