Hello I'm Rebecca Cother. The world renowned artist.
Look me up, only on the internet, not up and down.
Because at some point this morning I thought 'Yes wear a wonder woman t-shirt, that's the
kind of professional look you want to go for.'. Anyway, so join me, because we are going to
have a bit of fun in Becks Draws. I can't change it now, I have already done
the title sequence. I'm not talking to a short person, she's downstairs.
I'm talking to my cat. Say hello. Say hello Fleabag.
Whatever! Should've got a dog.
This is where I am going to show you how I paint my drawings, draw my paintings, create
my magic. Paintings like this one over here. Wow, wow,
wow. Available on the website, rebeccacother.co.uk. So today, I'm not going to show you my whole
process. That's for the second date, subscribe. I'm just going to show you the end bit, so
you don't get too bored. So in true Blue Peter fashion, heres one I
started earlier. It's got my little character on Button Nez.
I'm going to set the video to time lapse so you can magically watch me finish her off.
Why do I keep saying these things? Off we go then, great fingers of fire. Look
at me go. ding ding ding ding ding. Out come the stars. This is just removing
the masking fluid because I do the background with spray paint.
Which you'll see in the next video. And now I am applying the water colours.
Look at me go. This is just not on time lapse, this is just how fast I work.
If you want to see any of these originals before waiting to see the youtube videos you
can see them on my Facebook page. They have sneaky peeks. And then you could
join my mailing list by just emailing me your email and you get the first choice of originals
and any other exciting news. Oh it's a bit thirsty work this isn't it?
Oh that's better, bit of gin. Of we go again. It's getting a bit boring really isn't it?
I'm hoping you are going to see me pick up a pen soon, because then you will know it
is nearly over. In the meantime I am glad I wore the wonder
woman top now considering the camera angle. Would've been a bit embarrassing.
Here is the pen, brilliant. Next stage. I mean the main aim with this picture was to
get my double chin in shot. Oh there we are, job done. Fantastic. Doing
a bit of detail. Just bring out the defining line. Now the,
yes, brilliant. We're over. Fandabidozi. It's finished, my career probably after people
see this video. But in the meantime the painting, the painting
is finished. You may have realised that it has got a bit
dark since I started. It takes a while to create perfection.
But you know, it does exactly what it says on the tin. That's not funny.
So here it is, the big reveal. And this is called 'A seat made for two'.
It's a bit depressing isn't it? Join me next time for more depressing paintings.
Oh dear. Check out the website www.rebeccacother.co.uk
for the whole range of melancholy paintings. And subscribe, subscribe. There is going to
be loads more, maybe, occassionally, every week, annually.
Tell me honestly, what do you think about it?
Should've got a dog.
