Introducing The Rat, Hawk And Snake Fighting Styles in Tournaments by Sifu Arnett & Sifu Novoa

Hey guys, we just finished Sifu Maurice Master Arnett we just finished a little three part video mini series for you guys. It's based on three types of fighters the Hawk the Snake and the Rat and these fighters are based on tournament competition remember it's not the style of the person but the mentality of the person that you actually have to fight. One of my students Sifu Maurice Novoa from the Sport and street Wing Chun academy of Melbourne Australia came and trained and went to competitions he's still competing and I want him to expound on one of his competitions where he used a particular technique on a particular stylist. Tell our family what type of fighter and what you did, Thanks Sifu The tournament I fought in Orlando is uploaded on this channel and done in a drill set to show what I did, that fighter is a typical Rat personality type of fighter and he even lost points for using a blind attack back fist. His got all the characteristics of a Rat he is staying away quickly coming in trying to attack then running away, turning their back so he won't get hit and he doesn't come in or follow me to attack. That's a classic Rat 'he don't wana get hit he don't wana stay there, I love it so what did you do on your opponent? Well in that case I shielded with a tan the actually grabbed him so he couldn't run away. I said that's how you gotta fight the Rat... then I ended up hitting him in the head before he got away. That was pretty good and again the Rat if you go look at the little video snip it me and Maurice show that the Rat can't be caught unless you put a trap in on him so larp sao (grab) out of the Wing Chun kung fu system is very effective against the Rat stylist in competition.
