Multimedia Radio Transmissions - The simple way!

Hi, I'm Alex! I will be your Radio Jockey in this 'multimedia radio' demonstration. We will need some extras so I will find someone to help me in the demo. Okay, we will use his help. The help of Mr. Hat, as the host of the interview that we are going to have here and Mr. Guitar will be the musician we are going to interview. We have three mikes here (in the studio). Number 3 with (his associated) camera 3 (for Mr. Guitar). Number 2 that's using it our host, Mr. Hat (white hat actually!) here is his camera and I'm the RJ, I have this mike, number 1 and my (associated) camera. I'm using AUDICOM automation system and we are in Radio Power's studios, they have lent us for this demonstration. We are going to begin our show. We are ready to go on-air! So I will prepare myself... okay We are going to present our first music track on-the-air. The track is already playing and I will present it: 'This is Miley Cyrus, Wrecking Ball' And there we have the video is on-the-air (video streaming), the music is on-the-air and I will present Mr. Hat okay, there is my camera... 'Now we are going with Mr. Hat on-the-air, stay tuned!' I open his mike (Mr. Hat's mike) and he is now on-the-air as you can see. If I want to interchange ideas with him I can open my mike also and as you can see, we are both on-the-air at the same time (screen split in two). And now, Mr. Hat will do an interview to Mr. Guitar Hero. I will open Mr. Guitar Hero's mike there are both mikes on-the-air so they can chat between one another (while people watch them) If I want I can also open my mike and we are the three on-the-air, at the same time (with customized video composition) while the DJ is just opening the mikes, working with his audio console. Just as simple as that! We can add a banner below the image, if the DJ has time he can do that. He just pushes a button, confirms the texts. If they are okay, just clicks it and it goes on-air. Now we can hear the music of Mr. Guitar Hero. We will leave him with this special exclusive music block, live from our studio. Okay, Guitar Hero is not willing to do a great performance tonight :-( So we are now going to continue looking (and hearing) to the music. I close all the mikes, and we are back on-air with the music (videoclip too), and in some seconds a new music track will start. We will have a cross-fade over there. And I will present the next track, just as I did with Miley Cyrus. Okay, I will first turn off the banner (that was turned on manually) and now, I will present... Hi, you're in Radio Power, listening to: Pitbull, Timber There we go! Finally, I will show you how to do a Skype communication (with video). I will need a journalist, I will ask R2D2 He has a cellphone. So, we are going to call the station. There I see the call. I answer it, and... it is establishing. R2D2, I will leave you the phone over here. Okay? There you go! We are almost ready. To put the communication on-the-air is very simple I will just open the Skype fader and now R2D2 is on-the-air! Maybe I want to ask him some questions about the breaking news he has. Do you really have a breaking news? Okay, he has a lot to say, so I will open my mike and there we are both of us, on-the-air. We can chat on-air, and we can have preset banners below, and (the software) automatically shows/hide them. If I take him out of the air, I will be on that camera (with no banner visible) and (in this scene) if I have a video playing, the video will show up over there. and if I close my mike, you will only see the video with the 'Now Playing' info. You will also see a news banner/crawl bellow. That is an RSS feed. Everything is configurable (video layers, scenes, video automation rules) and can be changed based on the station's requirements.
