Hey guys today i'm going to show you how to use a skate tool or a t-bar or a t-tool. It's
called by different names but it's most commonly called a skate tool so i'm just going to adress
it as that during the video. You have three different ends here and then a smaller tool
in the middle. most commonly it's just a straight T across the top and then the tool slips inside
it like that, but mine is not like that. The smaller end is for taking on and off the trucks
here at the bottom. and then the medium sized hole there is for loosening, tightening, or
even taking off your wheels. And then the larger end there is for tightening or loosening
you kingpin here. And then the smaller tool on the inside, this end as you can see is
a phillips screwdriver which is for putting in the top to help you fasten down if you
want to take off your trucks. And then this smaller end here, some people don't know this,
that you put this end inside the wheel when it's removed from the skateboard when it's
off the axle and then you pry out the bearing with a crowbar action. im gonna show you that
now. Just a sec, im just taking off the wheel here. So as you can see i have the wheel right
here and then its off the axle and the bearing is in there. sometimes its hard to get out,
so what you do is you put the tool inside the axle hole and then you just pry out the
bearing with a crowbar sort of action, like this. See? it just pops right out. easy peasy.
And then you just put it back in and then back on the axle. screw the bolt on a bit.
And then you just tighten it back on with the medium sized end of your skate tool. Alright,
well thats it. Thats how you use your skate tool.
