Hi my name is Matt Vansteenis, and on behalf of Expert Village we are going to learn how
to snowboard today, at Cannonsburg Ski Resort in beautiful Grand Rapids, Michigan. So now
after you have your linking turns down, and you have got a little bit of style down. Cranson,
who has no style. You want to have knees bent, same thing. So when you find the proper jump,
let's start small again. So just like with everything start small and work your way up.
Find a little jump. When you start coming into it, kind of edge into it on your edges,
get nice and centered where you want to hit it. And right as you come up to the actual
take off, the ramp of it, go flat based and just kind of lean back, pop off your tail
a little bit, try to say centered in the air, and ride away smooth. Okay so when you are
in the air, you want to make sure that you are going to land flat on the ground. Do not
land too far up on the nose because you are going to bite it hard. Same thing on the tail.
If you lean too far back, you are just going to look ridiculous and you are going to flip
up and it is going to hurt. So remember, everything in line, and when you go over the jump, stay
nice and fluid. Suck your knees up and land away sweet.
