Essential oils are safe for the entire family.
One of the things that is most beneficial about the essential oils
is that we're not isolated to only certain members of
the family even very young children.
One of the most common questions that I receive is
On my new born could I safely use the essential oils
With younger children, we see common symptoms,
we have digestive upset or we have congestion, we have irritability, we have diaper rash.
One of the great values of essential oils
is our ability to approach those symptoms with great confidence
without worry of irritation or side effect.
It's always a good idea to choose some of
the more mild or some of the more calming and soothing essential oils.
Although we traditionally may not think of lavender as been soothing for digestive upset...
actually because of the chemistry involved with lavender
it is excellent for newborn babies who have stomach upset.
I know that I'm using it essential oil that
is calming, soothing, very mild & non irritating.
It is a good idea, when we use essential oils with younger children
to consider diluting the essential oil.
This way, we can use the oils that we would traditionally think of using four ourselves
while knowing that it will be calming & soothing for the child.
As an example, DigestZen is an essential oil that we commonly think of
for using for any type of a digestive upset.
Applying DigestZen over the tummy
or to the bottom of the feet
is an excellent way to take advantage of all the benefits that you may receive
that now you want your child to also receive.
