Duck Hunting 2016 - Episode 15 - The last day

well me and kyle are out here today for the last day of our duck season of 2016-2017 we decided to come out on the last day in the afternoon and let all the googans get all their hunting out this morning and so far it's worked out whenever we first got here there's quite a few trucks and we drove around for 30 minutes came back and most of the trucks are gone there's still two boats somewhere out here but they may have even packed up while we were walking in and while we were setting up decoys we already had a pretty big group of mallards working around us and then they landed about 50 yards past are spread and then while we're still setting out they scared of the way so it's positive that this early in the afternoon we already have some Mallory flying in so hopefully we can get some more in here alright well while we were walking out here trying to figure out which thought we wanted to hunt we stopped off at this spot and we could not believe the amount of trash that is right here and this is just stupid for somebody to come out and we know that this area right and colleges hunted this two days ago and it was not like this they actually picked up a bunch of trash when they hunted it and then so within the net last two days after that somebody else's came in and is left all this trash in here like got dr pepper cans empty shells some kind of crackers still have crackers in it more pop and empty shells empty boxes more pop can shells right here by this is just stupid guys and I know that this probably happens everywhere so if you're one of these people at least trash out here like this just be respectful to your environment and areas that you have to hunt and pick up some of your garbage please it doesn't take that long we're going to leave it here for now and go home because we got ducks coming in but we're going to stop back by after the hunt is over we're gonna pick up all this trash because this is just stupid listen there's some more red wolf water bottle over here Gatorade bottles energy drink bottles more pop cans stupid quack quack alright well we had one ducks that kind of came by and looked at us and he landed over in a channel about 50 75 yards away and then we had a pair come in and I was able to drop the drake and Kyle got him so have put us on the board for the last day of duck season alright well we've had some more ducks kind of coming in and they keep on wanted to land on the other side of the sticks from where spread set up the problem is we can't really move our decoys over there because there's not really anywhere for us to hide if we were to move over there so we think maybe the Ducks could be seeing us so i'm talking back in this grass little bit more and Kyle move down the way over there just a little bit so hopefully he can get tucked in the grass little bit more so hopefully it works out when they get close I gotta take them are going to get your trip for your quick well we just had to Mallard Drake's come in and it was kind of a weird shot because of work I'll is down the bank but he was able to drop one and I dropped one so we got to Mallard Drake's hopefully we can get some more I think every single time I record a little thing like that I say hopefully we can get four more hopefully we can get more hopefully with more real hopefully we can get that's going to be a horrible waving actually I'm pretty sure we've got the same one again well not really the best shooting right there on what was probably the last group of ducks of the season for us i made to call a little bit too soon i think if I would've waited just a little bit i think they could have got a little bit closer but I was kind of getting antsy want to get some more ducks have been the last day so I went ahead and called the shot by the time we shot we shot the same duck on the first shot and dropped him and then the other two are out there a little ways and we took some follow-up shots and got another one so that's two more ones Mallard Drake the other one is either a drink or a him we'll find out you're whatever car gets back good boy good retrieve your back might be your friends with people here have to give you a doggie biscuit acting out let's six duck alright well that's a wrap on the 2016-2017 duck season for us we ended the day with six ducks didn't have a whole lot work and I think after a whole week of just being hit pretty hard there they're just a little bit shy so we got four mallard drinks and then to mallard hens so not a bad way to end the season better than coming out and getting skunked but you know you don't know if you don't go all right Kyle quick rating on this season one out of ten they give it about a tenth 10 for you yeah yeah I'd say it's probably about an 88 for me and we started eight started these mass shooting pretty good on-field the first day and then it kind of tank after that first time we didn't really do too well yeah and then regular season opened up and we're still just mainly shooting teal and then we kind of picked it up and we had a couple good mallard hands and then I had a good ice hunt and then we finished out really strong but there's a lot of dead space between a lot of that but not a full 10 but definitely a lot of firsts here for me so right pretty good year definitely excited for next year stay tuned before I close out on this video i wanted to hit on two things first i wanted to show you guys the amount of trash that we picked up from that one group like I said all this trash was accumulated between a two-day period because Kyle and Ryan had that area two days before and there's absolutely no trash there and then whatever Kyle and I went in areas completely trashed but whatever can't change people the
