I give, you give, he gives, we give, you give, they give
If we could conjugate in a practical way, every day the present tense of the verb to give,
many of the problems that we see around us or maybe just on TV or on the internet would not exist.
One of my favorite sentences, is used by Missione Possibile:
To give, voice of the verb to love
Because love does not hold but gives with joy!
Does not cherish as Gollum with his "prrrrrecious"
Giving is to offer something of ourselves so other people besides us can be happy.
Giving is to get out of our private property to find out that there are people deprived of their basic need of dignity.
Giving is to sow into the lives of others, believing that this seed will bear fruit.
Giving is not to offer superfluous or what is not needed but offer ourselves to make sure that our life is useful.
There is more generosity in the virtual world than in the real one considering everything we share on Facebook.
Just think about it, if we could really share with those who are around us, all the good things that happen or that exist in our life,
we would surely be much happier.
There is a real life beyond the social network,
let's begin to make the difference where we are, rather than live in a virtual world to become blockbusters of likes and views on youtube.
Let's start to give others the best of ourselves.
And now listen well revolutionary:
There is no better place to talk about Jesus than your school or your university.
Many people are in a school for years and no one knows they're Christians.
What does it means for you?
For me it's selfishness!
God has given us a priceless treasure and often we don't have the courage or generosity to share it.
Do not think about what you don't have or what you could have, just start to give what you do have.
Don't wait to have the money, a good salary or a regular job to give.
I think it's only an elegant excuse to hide that you don't want to go to the checkout.
Yes, because giving also has a cost, you have to pay a price,
to step outside your comfort zone to get into the faith zone.
As the widow in the Gospel who gave everything she had.
I do not know what happened next, but one thing I know: God is faithful!
People often are afraid to have nothing because they don't have the right knowledge of what God is in their lives.
Perhaps you don't have silver or gold, like Peter and John,
but you have in you the One that can make miracles.
What is the point of being a Christian, and define ourselves as children of God, if we do not behave as such?!
Do not limit yourself to your desk , your class, your zip code.
You can start from there as well, but think of all those people who are waiting for someone to help them.
Washing your hands will not make you calmer.
Spend your life, give smiles, do not save yourself like a can of tuna.
Live as if you would expire today, like you're fresh milk to be consumed in one day.
Do not think you are like caviar: only to be opened on special occasions.
Probably the ones you see in the mirror are not sturgeon eggs but black points.
Take a lesson from the One who gave His life for you and do the same:
spend your life for Him and share your time and your resources with those in need.
We spend hundreds of Euros to buy mobile phones, pay holidays, eat pizza every weekend
and yet we're always without money when it comes to helping someone.
What if God would ask you: "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, then follow me"?
How would you react?
Invest your life and everything you have in people.
It will be your best investment.
IAMREVproject wants to support the fantastic training project that Mission Possible is doing in Cambodia
with the elementary school and, from this year on, even with the middle school.
How can we make our small but important contribution?
From each offer that we will receive in the value of a REVkit
1 euro will be used to buy a school kit for a cambodian child at the Mission Possible school
which includes: 1 pen, 1 pencil, 1 eraser, 1 ruler and 3 notebooks.
If your bid will be 30 EUR, which is the value of a REVkit (30 revbook + 1 bracelet + 10 stickers), 1 euro will be for Missione Possibile,
if your offer will be instead of 100€ for example, we will use 3 euro to buy 3 school kits for Mission Possible children.
Do not waste your life, but make sure that you'll get to the end with empty hands, feeling glad for giving everything.
