Meet The Drag Queens And Kings Who Hate Trump

Trump is ignorant and full of hate and I am here for love and love alone. The epitome of everything that is wrong in this world. An evil fascist. Trump is a man who thinks he knows what he's doing. He's not the one that represents a society that is diverse, that is inclusive and that is loving towards every single member of the society. F*ck Trump. Trump's in the U.K. and a bunch of us drag queens are going to go protest the fact that he's come and stepped on our home turf. Trump paints people of color like me, and Muslims like me, *** people as really weak and really kind of vulnerable, just parasites on the nation. But actually I think today is going to show how strong we are. I'm not a victim, I'm a queen. I think the drag is particularly important at the protest because at a time of such fear-mongering drag queens provide hope. At a time of such nightmarish politics we provide humor. Trump stole my bronzer. At a time of people feeling really, really scared I think drag just provides strength. I think this protest has a really powerful message. Whereas the fascists might think that they have all the power around Europe and the West, I think what this protest is going to show them is how many people will not tolerate what's going on. I think what's really interesting is that *** rights and trans visibility have risen at the time that people like Trump have risen as well. So it's almost as if they're a reaction to us. And I think the only thing we can do is to show that we're as visible as possible and as defiant as possible. The irony for Trump is his hate, as intense as it is, it's allowing for so much love to be kind of shown in response. And I think it's going to be a real shock to him.
