welcome to Viaduct training videos today we're going to talk about swapping out of the sim from the verifone six seventy. you'll receive your new sim card in the post along with your new sim card you'll receive return courier instructions they returned courier bag with the pre printed return label let's start by turning off the verifone six seventy by pressing and holding the red key until the terminal shuts down once the machine is off turn it over and remove the battery from the terminal remove the old sim simply slide the sim card out of the slot carefully you'll see the slot labeled sim takes the new sim card and push it out of the card and simply slide back into the slot so that the outline matches the sim card do this in the same slot labeled sim as you removed the old sim card we'll take the battery and put the battery back into the terminal now turn on the machine by pressing the green key and holding it until the machine turns on as machine turns on who will try to connect to the gprs network it'll come up with an error message saying error connect minus one this is to be expected as we need to change the settings on the terminal to allow the new sim to connect to the gprs network once to the main menu press the left purple key to scroll until you see utility select have f2 for you to scroll again until you see gprs settings press f2 Select the address type as IP and select F2 we're now going to change the ip address one one seven then one then press the alpha key scroll through the letters until we get to the dot continue on with one two zero dot three five dot then nine press the green button to enter the secondary i_p_ this will be the same i_p_ address one one seven one two zero dot three five dot again then nine you'll see the port three three eight seven six press enter and moved to use this SSl select fone for no when selecting address-up as d h c p fone we will not change this press the green enter key will now change the APN to viapos we do this by selecting the corresponding number with the letter that we want and selecting the alpha key until we see the lower case letter viapos again viapos must be in lower case press enter and you'll see a username field click enter again and password field press enter again and your terminal will reprint as the terminal reboots you should not see the error code minus one simply log on your machine once rebooted by pressing the left purple button until you see logon and press f one we'll start in in the download once completed press the green button print your receipt to return your old sim card simply follow the instructions provided take the return bag place the old sim into the bag sealed the bag and call the courier number provided on your instructions or you can call viaduct at 0800 four eight four two three eight this has been of a Viaduct training video
