This is Andy on behalf of Expert Village, Seventh South Clothing and Ramp Riders Skate
Park. In this clip we're going to talk about the approach and how to basically start the
spin. When you are approaching it like in this ramp, I'm going to half pipe right now
so I just drop in right now on one side and it gives me the speed to go on the other.
If you have just a normal box jump like to say, if I have it right here and it was just
this section, you would have to pedal up to it and you would have to get comfortable with
it. But I've been riding this one for 8 years so I know what's going on. So when you start
the approach like I said you have to have the correct amount of speed, when you come
up to it a lot of it on the 360 it depends which direction you're going to spin. You
need to know that before it happens, before you try it and it all depends whether you
are left handed or right handed. If you're left handed, your pedals are going to be spun
this way, you are going to spin off to the left which you are going to be using this
foot back here to push the back end of the bike around. If you are right handed, the
pedals are going to be facing this way with your front foot with you left foot forward.
Then you are going to spin off to the right and you use your right foot to push the back
end of the bike around.
