Hi, my name's Veronica Baragas with mywigglesandgiggles.com and I'd like to share with you what education
it takes to be a day care teacher. Well usually it doesn't require too much education. And
I know that sounds kid of, it doesn't sound the greatest but usually a lot of the daycares
offer training, on site training or they have a minimum requirement of training that they
have to take throughout the year. But usually it's only until you get to a director status
or maybe even a lead teacher position that you have to some type of college courses or
even a CDA which would be a child development associate. So that's pretty much the basics
of education. To be a regular teacher usually you just have to have maybe a few college
courses or some childcare experience.
