Opera singer faces accusations she mimed her rendition of Barcelona
KATHERINE Jenkins kicked off Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway with a stunning rendition of Barcelona.
However, the Welsh opera singer was then slammed by viewers, who claimed she was miming for the special series finale.
One viewer tweeted Katherine and said: "YOU TOTAL FRAUDSTER. MIMING AND NOT EVEN REALISTIC.
PEOPLE ACTUALLY PAY TO SEE THAT S**T. DISGRACEFUL IN EVERY WAY!!! (sic)"
Katherine hit back at her hater in the classiest way, and replied: "Thank you for the compliment - my singing was FULLY live."
The singer headed to Barcelona to sing on the cruise ship for the special episode last night.
She took to the stage to perform for the Saturday Night Takeaway guests on board the cruise ship.
Both Ant and Dec joined the singer on stage midway through her performance of the Opera classic, however she was completely unfazed.
Katherine recently recorded a special version of the National Anthem for the Queen's 90th birthday this year.
The track will feature on her new album, Celebration, and features all 3 verses of God Save The Queen.
She will also be heading to Windsor Castle next month to perform at the birthday celebrations for The Queen.
Katherine recently opened up about motherhood, and her decision to return to work so soon after giving birth.
Speaking to The Mirror she said: "I imagined I would just want to take my time off and enjoy being a mum and being with her the whole time.
Then you have a daughter… and you also want to be a role model to her."
