Hi everyone, and today I'm going to be telling about the New Year's Resolution I've set myself
for 2013, which is to read fifty-two books in fifty-two weeks.
Now the reason I've chosen this is because I used to read tons; I used to read maybe
an hour, a couple of hours a day; but in the past couple of years I've stopped doing that.
I'm reading less and less, less and less fiction mainly, but also less non-fiction, and you
know I want to get into it again, because I used to really enjoy it and I don't as much
now, so hopefully I can get back into it.
So some of the books which I'm going to be reading, which I hope to read anyway, during
2013, are as follows:
Game of Thrones by George R R Martin.
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer.
The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness.
At least one new Shakespeare play which I haven't read before.
Brave New World by Alduous Huxley.
The Gift by Alison Groggon.
Big *** by Simon Singh.
A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking.
And Sabriel, by Garth Nix.
Now I've had all these books for quite a long time, in fact some of them I've had for over
a year I think, but I've never got round to reading them.
I've always wanted to read them and I thought this 52 weeks, 52 books project is a perfect
way of doing that.
So this will probably be my last vdeo of 2012, I might upload some more, maybe I'll upload
a Christmas video with some of the books I get for Christmas that I want to be reading
next year.
But, until then, if you have any suggestions of books you think I should read put them
town in the comments.
Please subscribe if you want to see my videos next year, hopefully my plan is to upload
a video every week about the book that I've read, what I thought about it, whether I think
you should read it, so that should be really good and really fun.
So, I hope to see you then!
