Hello, I’m Jon Stewart.
Welcome to your weekly show, « Deep Immersion ».
I’m standing here today
in front of one of the finest engineering school in the world :
« Polytech’Orléans »
Besides teaching modern courses
such as Civil or Electrical sciences,
Polytech’Orléans is an hour drive from Paris.
And as you can see, the weather is always nice
and enjoyable
We have followed a student of this school for one week
Let’s hear his story !
There is nothing better than a morning jogging
to start the day.
Hey what’s up !
Crazy week-end ?
I love your haircut baby !
Follow me, I will show you a classroom.
*** !
I’m lost …
As you can see, we are not afraid
of equations.
Hurry up Bob ! One minute left.
It's easy goddammit !
Friendly teachers, Paradise …
Come on ! Where are you from ? Primary school ?
Even a little boy could do that !
It’s time for me to go to class
See you there !
Welcome to my class
The best of the school
We are very united …
Damn ! Give me a second …
I love this class.
If 8 hours of class are not enough for you
You can stay at school until 2 hours in the morning
You will always find some motivated and serious people.
Oops, Let’s try another one.
Well ! It’s pretty late.
It’s time for me to go to bed
I hope you enjoyed the tour.
The deep immersion continues, just after this little break.
You like croissants, huh ?
And you like donuts ?
Then you’ll love …
Cronuts !
The perfect mix between French
And American cultures.
Be nuts about Cronuts !
Welcome back to deep immersion into Polytech’Orléans.
I’m standing here with the famous director of the school :
Mr. Light.
Mr. Light, you’re the director of one of the finest engineering
school in the world,
You must be very proud ?
Yes ! It’s an honor to rule this school.
We have so talented professors, great infrastructures,
and IT equipment.
Let me give you a little tour.
Here we are in the central hall of Galilée.
There are a lot of TVs in the school to keep
the students informed of the news.
As you can see, it’s very clean and peaceful.
Let me show you a classroom.
I know you can do it. I have faith in you.
As you can see, there is a real connection between
the students and the professor.
A sain relation based on trust.
Very good, you’re getting better every day.
Keep going.
Ladies and gentlemen, the judges scores.
Carrie Ann Inaba :
I found it is a ten.
Len Goodman :
For Len, the ten.
Bruno Tonioli :
Ten !
There you go !
Let’s continue the tour.
As I said, technology is very important for us,
That’s why each new student receives a brand new tablet.
Am I right guys ?
Here at Polytech’, we are more than a school :
We are a family.
If there is something you don’t understand,
you will always find someone willing to help you.
Look, it’s …
late … And you can see students
helping each others with pleasure.
What’s that red dot on your sweater ?
What ? What red dot ? What are you talking about ?
What was I saying ?
Oh yeah, we are a big family
and there is nothing better than sports to tighten the links.
Let’s go win this game boys !
