Hi, I’m Kerri. I’m Dave, and this is EW’s TV Recaps for
March 19th. Almost every episode of The Goldbergs
Is full of fun nostalgic things from the 80’s And last night really brought me back
With the appearance of Handisnacks Garbage Pail Kids cards and my favorite song
from The Karate Kid Part deaux, Glory of Love.
I was freaking out about seeing hypercolor t-shirts!
I used to have one, but you’re not supposed To wash them in super hot water,
Bleach them, tumble-dry them, or iron them. And since my mom did all of that to all our
clothes It was destroyed.
And PS, I hold a grudge, Mom! Once again, Bev reminded me so
Much of my mom in this episode. She used to have this giant head of permed
hair And just like Bev, it made her who she was.
I don’t want to hear about some imaginary hole in the sky.
I have a PTA meeting and I need to Command confidence with my big hair!
I’d show you a photo of my mom Kind of like how Adam Goldberg shows us home
Movies of his real family But she would write me out of the will.
Seriously, it was like she had a giant Chow-chow dog on her head.
Bev reminded me of my mom in this Episode when she took on the danger of the
microwave. That food’s been radiated. It’s like poison
in a bag. We never had one growing up.
And yes, the grudge is still here. Do you know how long it took to make popcorn?
Between 3 and 5 minutes! So… the same as a microwave?
But it was so loud Kerri! You’re going commando right now, yes?
I believe it’s called al fresco Either way, your balls are hanging out though,
right? Yup. Right there.
