Could you use a boost in happiness? What if you could make yourself feel happier just
by tapping on your body whenever you felt depressed? Happiness is possible with the
help of an emotional release approach called EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique. EFT is
a method whereby you tap repeatedly on certain trigger points while making statements that
affirm your self-worth. As you practice EFT, stored emotions discharge and are replaced
with positive energy. For example, I can tap my collar bone and say, “Even though I believe
there’s something wrong with me, and I have these feelings of shame and sadness, I am
beginning to love and accept myself deeply and completely.” I would do that maybe 10
times, adding other statements and release points, until it feels true. So, to learn
