Several dead rabbits have been thrown through windows of student flats at the University of Kent's Canterbury campus over the past fortnight.There are 5,400 rooms in a series of housing g blocks set in more than 300-acres of parkland - but the 'phantom rabbit flinger' is upsetting students by tossing fluffy bunnies through flat windows.One male student was hit by a flying rabbit after it was lobbed through a window as he stood in his girlfriend's room on June 1 and other rabbits have been thrown through open kitchen windows.Shocked business studies student Kaylin Moir, 18, said she watched in horror as dead rabbit came flying into her pal's flat, hitting her friend's boyfriend.When she later returned to her own shared flat, she found another dead rabbit lying dead on her kitchen draining board.Speaking this week, she said: 'I was outside my friend's room with the window open. Share this article Share 'We were just talking and then I felt an object pass my head - it (the rabbit) hit her boyfriend and fell on the bed.'She told the KentLive website this week that after going back to her own flat - just six doors down from her pal - she spotted a dead bunny in her kitchen on the draining board.She added: 'I went back to my house, but when I went to grab some water I saw the dead rabbit and called campus security.'Other students said they had also been victim of the 'bunny flinger', with one saying: 'I came back home and saw a dead rabbit lying on the kitchen floor.'
