welcome fellow comphumans and don't be alarmed you're in the right place
you are at crowpivions reaction review of babymetal and today we got tales of the destinies
now you're probably going to be asking yourselves or asking me
actually where or why does the video look a little bit different right now
why is it not the usual format well
because this time around I wanted to do more of a I wanted to put more emphasis
on the song this time around because this is a song that a lot of people get
twisted with being a parody of the one
so if you've all seen my reaction review of the one which I'm sure you have by now
this song ties very well together with the one because it was not only meant to be that way but it actually
brings a lot of what they talk about in the one into this the tales of the destinies
combines with the one to create a song about humans destinies
about where we're going you know first
of all let's let me get into why a
little bit of the background of this song so the background of the song kind
of goes into detail with a Greek mythology of the three goddesses of fate
which a lot of people can look at at Su metal Moa metal and Yui metal and
kind of put them into the place of the
three goddesses of fate in this case
because that's kind of what they did
with the one something I didn't touch on
I guess I kind of wanted a way to wait a bit till we got to this point but the
three goddesses of fate let me get into them
Clotho carries a spindle or a role which
is also the book of fate so Clotho
is kind of the bookkeeper I guess you
could say kind of the one that keeps track of where humankind is going and
the path that they take to get to a certain point known as where they're
going in their fate whether it's good or
bad and she kind of keeps everything in the book now this next name is a little
bit harder for me to pronounce i think i
pronounced it correctly but help me down
in the comments if i am wrong on this
and sorry to anybody who I don't want to
offend who is into Greek mythology
I myself have looked into Greek mythology
many a times and this just goes with it
but I'm not a Greek mythology geek
I guess you could say Lachesis holds a
staff that she points to the horoscope
of the globe so she kind of points to
where a point is going to occur where something big is going to occur where a
point of fate were a point of Destiny
where a point of of birth is going to occur where someone may hold a change in
the world's fate a change in humankind's
destiny of how we're going to get to a certain point of either survival or unfortunate death last one here atropos
she holds a screw a scroll wax tablet sundial pair of scales or a cutting instrument
so she kind of is the tool master more or less of the
three the one thing that you gotta that you also got to realize about the three
goddesses of fate is that they're also
real recognized in Greek mythology as
old women as elderly women so they kind of in a way they're kind of speaking in
the fact of human kind gets to a point of age that doesn't really bold a good
fate or a good destiny form even though
there's a lot of knowledge there there's
also a lot of wrong doing to get to a
certain point where because a lot of the
old three goddesses of fate are very
much surrounded around the spindle or thread of life ending the death of
humans or one person one singular person
other times these three are shown with
staffs or scepters symbols of Dominion
and even with crowns so they're kind of
their really looked at as the full
keepers of what fate holds of power of
how destiny is going to be completed
kind of the life and death situation
that well here we are what is our
destiny what is our fate everybody
continuously asks ourselves that what is a singular fate or what is our whole fate
a lot of big questions these days
on a lot of that I think not going to
get into any of that so without further ado link down in the description below
to the original video to keep up with me
let's catch some R&R and let's catch some more babymetal
in three two one go
three two one stop
so the opening solo here
they kind of pit what the song is
going to be about because the one was
very much about being as one being as a
group and this song really talks about
the chaos of we're the ones fate is
going to go of where the destiny lies
beyond the horizon that's a big part of
why i leave my background today black
because the future is very much dark we don't really know what it's going to be
we don't know what there is in store for us however the past is also dark while
it has already been written there are so
many people out there who twist things
around that it's screwed that it can
screw up what the Destiny what our fate
what our future holds for us because
whatever happened in the past bolds
either well or bolds very bad for our
future and for our fate and for our
destinies and each and every single
person has their own destiny has their own fate has their own way of going in life
remember and I said talked about
this where nobody is the same we are only similar
so this song with starting out the way that it did was starting out
in the very chaotic side which is kind
of painting the picture of what tales of
the destinies is going to be about when
they break when they do the tales of the
destinies lyrics and then they bring in
the more the one lyrics you can hear it
you can hear the one and they actually
do say the one in this song but they go from the chaotic mess
chaotic destruction beautiful as it may
be it with the guitar but they
transition that very well and very
smoothly into the ones rhythm and beat
so it's a very well painted picture as
to how they go into all into painting
the picture very early on of what this
song is about and painting the our past was gloomy but we got through it but yet
where do we lie now where does our
destiny now lie where is our fate now
in three two one go
three two one stop
in this first verse here they or Su-metals
asking what is the answer where is the answer and moametal and Yuimetal
come in saying nowhere nowhere nowhere nowhere and it's amazing how
that just that right there and then Su
comes back in at the end of that to tie
it all together with what is it what is
the answer what is the answer where is
what is our fate what is our fate as
humans what is our fate as a whole
where are we going I mean where are we
going already headed down the path to
chaos or are we headed down the path to
better ourselves to create a better
future a better life for not just
ourselves but for everybody and everything that is on this planet fate
we're trying to paint for ourselves right now is not is not a bright fate at
all is not a bright destiny at all with
everything that I've talked about in all the other babymetal react and
reviews it all kind of flows down into
this one the one and tales of the destinies these two songs are speak
volumes to not only the music business
because the music business takes a role
in this to where to where do we want to
be at with music do you want to
continually tear someone down because of
their music likeness here's the thing is
tales of the destinies and the one is about grouping together and being human and not animalistic
3 2 1 go
three two one stop
so right there what I was talking about with the past they
bring in some old-time music some good
old classical music into a heavy metal
song that's not metal really it's more
metal than a lot of metal music is today
oh wait Who am I define what metal music is isn't that up to the people who
listen to metal music or to just listen
to what music is getting back on track here see that's the thing is this song
really talks about everything as a whole
it talks about human kind as the one it is no longer just babymetal and their fans
it is the world as the one as the
one to change its ways as the one to
change itself because this song it brings what nobody likes to talk about
and you know what I'm fine with talking
about it because I'm I'm okay with
speaking my mind I always have been
I don't like everything I don't like all
music but if I don't like something and
somebody else does I ain't got nothing
to say about it you know because I don't
listen to it and the same with film if I
haven't seen a certain film that
somebody else has seen or if I have seen
a film and they haven't if you bring it up with that person don't expect them to
have something to say because they may
have not have seen it or they and even
if they have seen it it's probably going
to be something like a situation
where they don't like it you do so
they're going to but against you hard
and it's going to take you down a peg
and make you look at the world in a
worse way why would a movie do that
because well
bullying bullying has a huge effect on
people's minds and I know this because I was bullied but I conquered that
much like I conquered a lot of other things in my life so the thing about it here is
is that this is we have to conquer the
bad destiny the bad fate but we also
have to conquer the good fate and the
good destiny and we have to write our own we have to break through what is
expected of us and do what we need to do
to get to a better place to get to a better viewing of the world as a whole
and as ourselves individually and I'm not excluding myself from anything
because hell I am not perfect by a long
shot I've done some things in my life
that I ain't proud of but I don't regret
them because if I regretted them then
that means I would regret the lesson
that I learned from that thing whatever it may have been so now here I am 23
with the viewing of the world that I
have a very open view a very
free-spirited view and a way a person is
does not affect me in any way because i know who i am but i don't know where my
fate lies I don't know what my where my
destiny is going but I'm writing that scroll I'm writing that book and I'm continuing to live life with emotions in motion
three two one go
three two one stop
real quick this ain't going to take up much time but I want to say that
right now I'm listing this tails of the destinies I'm listing this solo as my
favorite solo officially this is my favorite solo by babymetal officially
three two one go
it's also kind of like a Metallica song to very long solo
alright guys so the tales of the destinies by babymetal this song it's
that ending is such a beautiful ending
because it brings in the very idea of a beautiful fate of a beautiful destiny
of where we could be at as a whole in the world to have a better future and
I have a better viewing on the world for
by the time we get there to where it is
that we feel we belong and that's the thing is this song with it having its
own chaotic sounds and blending the ones
rhythm and beat and sound in with this song's own the way that it starts out
it blends the one with the tales of the destinies chaotic solo but then at the
end of it it's just the beautiful piano sound and I've talked about it with the
ijime, dame, zettai video but the piano when it comes to babymetal now the
piano is always been viewed as kind of one of the most beautiful
instruments in the world because it has a very melodic sound it has a very clean
sound it has a very beautiful sound but
the other thing is is the piano also has
also been viewed as kind of the thread of life the spool of life if you will
same as the harp the piano player sits down and is molding the strings together
in the piano to create beautiful melodic sounds that it's the same that can be said with a
guitar player whether it comes to metal music or anything you know pretty much
any stringed instrument can be viewed as
the spool of life but the thing is
is that when it comes to a piano or even a harp it's more matching it's more
resemblant of that spool or that thread of life so they do a very good job
throughout this song blending the one
with where is the ones fate going where is the ones destiny going to lie in a matter of years
so they do a very good job with that but blending songs is also
a risk it is a risk that not a lot of
bands like to take because the fans
might get upset however the thing with
blending a song like the one which talks
about very simply people blending together grouping together and being
just one with the band or the singer or
whatever it may be to just be one in
their music and be one in that moment at
the concert or in the song that they're
playing in the car it brings that into a
whole world scope when it comes into the
tales of the destinies and especially
with being with the Fox God image so
widely popular with babymetal and who
babymetal is su-metal moametal yuimetal
you often see them in the pictures with the fox masks
kind of painting their own picture I guess you
could kind of say they're the Fox fates
I guess you could say they're the three
Fox fate goddesses I guess you could say it goes with their image of what
they're painting babymetal as but at the
same time the song also paints a worldly
picture and it does also paint a
individual picture because it's the
individual in the world with the view that they have that can change the world
for either the better or for the more chaotic it all depends on how you view it
how you want to be in the world how
you want to be towards other people but
yeah this song has a very beautiful
arrangement to it I love this song it's
a beautiful song beautiful arrangement
beautiful singing by Sumetal Moametal and Yui metal they they really when you want
to talk about an artist knocking
something out of the park or knocking something out of the studio
if you want to say they did it with this song
remember past is dark our future and our fates also darker where do you see yourself
so that's going to conclude tales of the destinies I hope in some way
maybe I've opened your guys's minds
a little bit more
so I thank everybody so much for watching
