What up youtube. Topaz Yates back with another daily review. This time to Fat Joe Remy Ma's All The Way Up West Coast remix. It is the exact same as the others where as they simply added new verses from Snoop Dogg, E40, and The Game. When you see everyone making renditions and remixes of a particular song then you know that caught on to the highest level. Yet by looking at the lineup they added here I knew it wasn't going to work out. Starting with Snoop Dogg, his style just doesn't line up with this track. All The Way Up is a lyrical club song where they take a commonly used phrase and apply it to different topics. Snoop Dogg has never been lyrical. It does make sense that he is featured because this is what he has done for promotion over years. With Cool Aid right around the corner it was all but a matter of time before he was on this. Yet lyrically nothing impressed and as he switched up the flow to jamacian like it made matters worse. I love E-40. What I love the most is how he mastered his flow and technique but in order for him to rap on this song he would have had to flip it up. He has been in the game way too long for him to do that.
