Hello its Kinoshita Yuka
Today I'll be making Zenzai (mochi in sweet beans) and today instead of
the mochi I'll be using some yukimi daifuku mochi (mochi ice cream)
this is a recipe of my own concoction. I get ideas from you all the time but this
time its my own idea.
> However when I researched it further this recipe was shown on TV <
and I will be using these boiled azuki beans
what? no way!!!!! omg
you need a can opener for these cans.... lol I don't have a can opener here...
I totally thought it was one where you flip a tab to open it...
..... I'll go out and buy one...
ok I just bought one... convenience stores are.... convenient
alright lets make this shall we
I will be using these canned zenzai
place the zenzai in the bowl
for every 200g of azuki we add 150cc of water we will be using 600g of azuki
so I'll be using 450cc of water and now we heat it being careful not to burn it
please mix well making sure to not burn the beans
and I want to increase the amount here so I'll add some more water and sugar
mmm its about perfect I think
once it comes to a boil add a bit of salt
turn the heat to low once it boils and simmer for 5 minutes.. there is some
foam here, maybe I'll scoop it out lol
hmm is this foam or not?
so once its simmered for 5 minutes you take the zenzai.... wait did it turn into
oshiruko now? hmm whatever its done...
and now we put the yukimi daifuku in here
oh no I left these out while I cooked they're a bit melted
they're so cute!!
tadaa they're done
this could be perhaps a first using these mochi in this way.
itadakimasu
oohh it looks so yummy whoaaa look its a mochi its a mochi
its a proper mochi
its totes yummy ahhh its perfect omg its so yummy
mmm
I so love this! the azuki and cream go so nice together and it turns into a
cream sweet bean version?????
is there such thing as a cream zenzai out there? I feel like its gotta be made
ahh its totally yummy
its yummy I love sweet salty things and well I don't think it made it into the video
but I threw in quite a lot of salt in here and that saltiness and sweetness is
matching perfectly with the sweet beans and sweet mochi
it looks yummy doesn't it?
hmm if you squish the beans and mix the cream would that make it better?
oops I just realized I wore my apron this whole time... ahh well
I realized that by watching the picture in the camera...
that picture in the camera is so convenient isn't it?
the zenzai has turned all creamy and this is so good. but its alright since
I love sweet things but this might not be so great for people who dislike sweets.
and the mochi alone is yummy the azuki beans on their own are yummy
mmm this is turning snow white lol
it doesn't look like a zenzai at all now lol
its super yummy look a mochi its a mochi!!!
oh lol its turned so white now it looks like this now
with a cold ice cream mixed in warm things like this is so nice I love deserts
like this
gochisosamadesu
it was super yummy and in winter warm sweets are the best!
the zenzai are so great and if you had mochi you'd need to bake them but
with the yukimi daifuku you just plop them in from the freezer its super easy
and on top of it this is so yummy its not like a zenzai where its super hot and
warms up your whole body but its something that you can adjust with
how many mochi you put in here
I believe this is very good
my rice is done cooking lol
everyone please give this a try and if you liked this video please hit the
